I have been thinking about this from a long time.
And this , has proved 100% right for me at all occasions.
There are many awkward moments in life.
I would tell you in brief, But there are a lot!
You were hearing a friend of yours saying that his wife is pregnant or he got a job,
And suddenly you get a phone call from another friend about demise of his mother
You find yourself in a fix… when you have to talk about your life with a person you never met in a long long time
You were talking about a secret to your friend,
But 4 friends of yours were talking to you at the same time
and you by mistake,
Typed the secret to a girl classmate!
And you find out the next day when she talks to you in the class…
These are just a few… that I observed.
We don’t think these things affect us.
But it is a poison to the psychology of other person about our nature…
So, I think,
When you have nothing to talk about…
Accept your mistake, if there is
Define the moment
Define, that you will talk to the friend about job but not right now…
You have to go to the other one, at demise of his mother
Define, that we haven’t talked to each other in a long time so its awkward to talk about the things that are similar to us…
Define to your classmate that you were talking to 4 people at once and you were unaware of the fact, that you were telling her, not your friend!
Define that you are feeling awkward!
May be, these people like your raw honesty…
May be your way of starting the conversation…
And somehow if they care, they will understand
So whenever you feel awkward,
Don’t chicken out!
Just be vocal about the situation…
Define the moment…
