Good Vs Right ( A short story)

“This is the story I want you to remember the whole life” – said my mom to me.
And I am conveying it to you too.

She told, ” Listen son, There was a monk. He was rambling in the street after he meditated…
As he moved further, He saw 2 vicious people running behind a cow.
One of them was carrying a sword and the other – Saw and there were blood stains on it.

When the cow passed by the monk,
He noticed that it was bleeding.

He understood that the 2 persons were trying to kill the animal.

The cow turned to one of the other sides of the street.
As soon as the people reached on crossing,
They asked the monk to tell them where did the cow turn…

Monk, who never had told a lie in his life; Lied

He told the people – opposite side of where the cow went.

This is the way he saved the animal…
But he lied

Is this fact really matters???

Or he lied
But he saved the animal! he saved a life…

Yes! This seems right.

If he had been adding one more truth to his record, an animal would have died by his decisions.
He was honest but smart too…

He might not have spoken the good thing or the truth;
But he did the right thing to the life,
A right decision to the universe 🙂

So friends,
All I want you to take is –

Being honest is a good thing,
But idealism will hurt if it crosses a limit!

Be such smart! Be the right person.
If then good favors you,
Its a bigger triumph on your part!

And good things might not be right…
Right will always be good 🙂 “
